| Responsibilities: |
Develop and implement an expressive therapy program which interfaces with the individual needs of each participant to include a variety of disciplines to provide opportunities for consumers to explore themselves in the realm of music, art, drama, movement, etc. Conduct individual and group sessions in the area of art, music, movement, drama, etc. Develop a curriculum and goals for each activity planned, tying them in with prevailing established goals for consumers. In conjunction with other staff, assist in developing and implementing new programs based on consumer interest and need. Periodically demonstrate participant skills and accomplishments through exhibits, presentations or other channels. Maintain appropriate plans, progress notes, and evaluative program reports on all consumers enrolled in program. |

| Requirements: |
Bachelors Degree in Expressive Therapy, or related field. Significant and demonstrated experience instructing in area of discipline may be considered in lieu of education. A minimum of two years experience in area of specialization (i.e., music, art, drama, yoga, etc.). A minimum of one year experience working with people with disabilities preferably with the age group assigned to. Experience working with culturally diverse populations. Must have physical endurance to stand and walk and skills to participate and model physical fitness activities for up to 120 minutes at a time. |
